Hoping to grow some pretty ornamental grasses like these in our yard this year. Photo from our wedding in September.

Here is the work we finished this weekend. Tilled and raked the garden. Stacked wood, piled rock. Anthony made a fire ring last weekend. Since it rained we feel a little safer having a fire now.

We cut down a tree that was too close to the fence and growing into the neighbors nice Maple.

Back of the house and piles of branches. Anyone want to make a wreath?

You can see the second, smaller tree that was more intertwined in the Maple. We ended up cutting the top off and falling the bottom 2/3rds of the trunk. The top stayed stuck in the Maple until a strong wind came up and blew it down (on top of the fence into the neighbors yard. Ack!)

Our wood pile from the tree and the pile of landscaping rocks we found in our garden.
