The internet could not be more flaky here at the tool shed. Our wireless router is broadcasting a dead connection and we're somehow connected through "olson family network", which I thought is what I used at Mary's house. I pretty much doubt that we can pick it up from here. But, there is a phantom connection that times out about once every half hour and tops out at speeds of 5.5 mbps when we're lucky.
Now, the idea of leaving the people that I spent every waking minute with for the last five months, makes me want to cry.
Maybe, part of my sadness is the stress of having to lead the County Unit meeting tonight (by the way during the campaign season I became the new chair when our old chair had to move away for a new job) and really not knowing how the hell to convene a meeting of the county central committee so we can elect a new chair and associate chair. And the fact, that if people don't take their shit tonight, I have to deal with it later.

And before she came in this morning she brought Mary to the senior housing where my grandpa lives and introduced her around.
And she just happens to be our co-manager.
I love her SOOO much. I just had to share. And my grandpa and I were on her GOTV lists too.

Hatmaker says: and...
Hatmaker says: stand there?

I miss youth group. I miss the ragtag group of kids coming into adulthood with a million questions. I had to run a couple errands last week and while driving I went past them doing their annual scavenger hunt for the food shelf. It broke my heart that I couldn't be there with them.
I need some spiritual fulfillment that doesn't come on Sunday mornings.
On that note, check out the latest sermon from my church
