They played at First Avenue Sunday night. We got in line an hour and a half early for good spots near the stage, because this girl is short. The show was great, as always. theswellseason.com
Cake!
She likes the tissue paper best.
Uncle Anthony got her a xylophone, but Lily preferred to use the mallets as chew toys.
Over the weekend we visited the Farmer's Market in Bemidji, mostly to see Angi, Jimmy and Amber's stand (Guthrie Gator Farm & Gardens). The tomatoes aren't ripe yet, but they had a wonderful assortment of breads and pastries. We brought home some delicious whole wheat bread and a couple sweet treats too.
Afterwards, we stopped over to Bad Cat Creations to see Angi's watercolors, which were up and for sale. I snapped up an awesome print of Lotus 2. And a print of Minnesota Counties by Cody Bartz, it's 9/10 and signed! Can you find the misspelling?
Mine is doing pretty good. Anthony weeded part of it out last night and the light was so pretty this morning, I snapped a few photos. I got a clothes line!
Dill, parsley, basil, tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, spinach and dahlias (I hope they bloom this year). I need to make something with that basil! And the tomatoes have buds.
Peas and LOTS of squash (buttercup, summer and spaghetti). It's just starting to blossom. And the peas are getting pods.
