Jessica and I took the day off yesterday for Labor Day. Or as we like to call it "Last Chance to wear tube tops, flip-flops, & straw bags Day". It was a glorious sunny day and I got up and worked out and cleaned the bathroom and vaccumed the rest of the tool shed.
Then we put on our tube tops and did lunch at Green Mill in the sun on the Patio and drank Margaritas.
It was so nice we decided we needed to go to Diamond Point Park and lay on the beach to catch the last rays of sun for the day.
When the sun was behind the trees, we pulled on our beach cover-ups and ran to Target to get some room organizing stuff.
Once we got home, we walked to the gas station to pick up beer for our room reorganization party. And we cleaned out our closets for the rest of the night. We moved a ton of summer clothes into the "my closet is way too small" room. And I can finally see the carpet in my room!
So, that was what we did during our one day off in five months. Only 63 days to go!
