This morning I woke up to the country radio station celebrating Bush's departure by playing Bush Bloopers. Later they played an excerpt of Obama's convention speech immediately followed by Dixie Chick's "I Hope". I was singing along at the top of my lungs. Pretty much the best start to the day I could have asked for.
I put on my cute new J.Crew clearance dress and a flag pin and I'm ready for a new administration!
As a side note, I don't think I have ever heard the Dixie Chick's most recent album on that station (after Clear Channel banned them). I love you Morning Show and I should have called-in and told you so.
