Last week, my favorite, hold-it-all, purple purse from Forever 21 broke. Guess it wasn't forever. I haven't found a replacement that is able to carry my essentials, my less-than-essentials and shoes to work yet. Thus, I forgot my camera cable again.

I would really like to show you some pretty pictures from Anthony's and my date on Saturday night. We went to late happy hour at Kincaid's in Bloomington and I got some nice, low-light shots of him drinking and talking with their awesome liquor bottle wall in the background. We hadn't really had a fun date like that in a while and it felt like a throwback to when we first started dating. Way fun with yummy food and awesome cocktails.

You should also see the amazing desserts that Anthony's sister made for their Dad's birthday on Sunday. Fantastically thin and delicate almond cookies layered with pistachio and pecan cream, and raspberries. Served with lemon and raspberry curd. So awesome. We all had two servings and gobbled up what was left.

But you'll have to wait until I remember to bring it. Or turn my computer on at home. In the mean time, look at Anna Maria Horner's new Good Folks fabrics! Makes me want to make lots of quilts and pillows and monogrammed hoops.
