Running, running as fast as we can
I upped my running to 4+ miles 4x/week and my knees are really taking it hard. I'm amazed at the difference adding a mile per day makes.
I really want some new shoes that have more cushion and help my over-pronating problem, so my hips and knees don't ache all the time. I'd also like to find a trail route that I like to alleviate some of the stress on my knees from running on the sidewalk. (Is it worse for your joints to run on concrete compared to blacktop?)
Also, I can't find my Nike+ sensor for my iPod. I read the
Wired article about how awesome they are and since the move I can't locate mine. I looked through boxes and bags last night where I thought it might be, but I had no luck. Could get a
replacement for $16. It seems like a waste to buy it when I could just find mine.
